# Wallet

One major barrier when onboarding into a new ecosystem has always been the need
to download and install a new wallet. With the Initia Wallet, you can sign in to
any application using your existing EVM-compatible wallet, regardless of the VM
or smart contract language the application uses.

If you don't have an existing wallet, the Initia Wallet also allows you to
create a new account using your email address or social media accounts (Google
or X), powered by [Privy](https://privy.io/).
